If you’re craving Chinese-American food, Wokster is the perfect spot for you!
This franchise opened in February of 2024 by Jung Min Woo and is just a quick 10-minute drive from Camp Walker. The owner and waitress welcome you as soon as you get there and explain how easy the ordering process via QR Barcode is on your table. This place is cozy and perfect for lunch, dinner, a romantic date, or eating out with the family or a group.
I had the opportunity to observe Jung Min Woo passionately prepare food for his customers. Mr. Woo aspires to bring memories to every person who visits the restaurant not only by bringing delicious plates but also by making the time at the restaurant a memorable one. For Koreans, the taste is unfamiliar and is the main reason they keep returning.
You can appreciate crispy rolls, flower bread with condensed milk, fried rice with chicken, and orange chicken. Everything is exquisite and makes you want more. But, you can find more delicious plates such as fried rice with shrimp, garlic fried rice, chao mien, fork chao mien, chicken chao mien, spicy seafood chao mein, kung pao chicken, Sichuan chicken, and Sichuan pork stir-fried. As mentioned before, my picky kid loves eating fried rice with chicken and devours it in a matter of seconds.
The restaurant is located on a street where you can find two parking lots. Open Monday through Saturday from 11:30am - 9:30pm with a break time from 3:30pm-5pm. They take orders to go or for delivery. You can also use Wokster for your next group gathering! They are the perfect place for group dinners and are kid-friendly as well. Try it out and maybe make some new memories at Wokster!
